Tara Reid started with commercials in her early years and later made heads turn when she appeared on Saved by the Bell: The New Class. She's played her characters with panache, despite the criticism. The actress eventually received a major break as Bunny on The Big Lebowski. This film marked a significant stage towards her professional career. She began getting better offers for films like Urban Legend, Cruel Intentions as well as other similar films. However it was American Pie the cult movie that focused on sexual encounters between teenagers that put Reid in the spotlight as a promising actress on the horizon in Hollywood in her part as virgin Vicky. The result was not an enviable Hollywood life. Reid did not make it famous in Hollywood through films such as Josie and the Pussycats. Her career waned despite a short role in American Pie 2. Reid is more well-known as a fashion designer, a partygoer and party-goer rather than acting due to the many off-screen mishaps she has made.
